The so-called collaborative platform economy is difficult to define. We propose to discuss the issues and challenges related to different work intermediation platforms. Several collaborative platforms are work interaction platforms. The client is often part of the value chain (Isaac, 2016), but while the word ‘collaborative’ is often used, profits and decision making are not always collaborative. New digital business models are appearing and there is a diversity of formats and impacts on workers and society.. In a job market in crisis, the new forms of work can be questioned, as well as the advantages and disadvantages. in the track would also welcome papers on the various business models of innovative companies and their operations.
